Waubansee Productions creates compelling video stories – short videos to suit a variety of needs, as well as long-form documentaries for broadcast television. Video is an essential element for any website. Here are a few reasons why:
- About 46% of people say they’d be more likely to seek out information about a product or service after seeing it in an online video. (Source: Eloqua)
- The average user spends 88% more time on a website with video. (Source: Mist Media)
- Fifty-nine percent of senior executives prefer video over text. (Source: Brainshark)
Videos can effectively communicate an organization’s brand, whether it’s that of a company or a non-profit. From easy-to-understand public education videos, inspiring call-to-action videos, to in-depth mission statement videos, Waubansee can produce compelling videos for your organization. We work with veteran media professionals based on the needs of the project and offer clients full service for their video needs. From conceptualizing, storyboarding, writing the script, shooting and editing – pre-production to the finished video – every detail is covered.
Our latest project is From Billions to None, an award-winning documentary that reveals the forgotten story of the extinction of the passenger pigeon in the context of conservation challenges today.
The one-hour documentary aired on over 70% of the public television market in 2014/2015 and was part of an international outreach effort of over 300 institutions to remember the centenary of the extinction event and learn from it. From Billions to None is being distributed to educational venues by The Video Project. Billions won the Broadcast Award at the 2014 American Conservation Film Festival.
